Red Shark Men’s Wear is a Family-Owned and Operated Clothing Store located in Trenton Ontario. It began as a tiny store in downtown Belleville Ontario in the Maze Mall – also owned and developed by our family – which existed for decades before being purchased and reimagined into “Building Life” in 2021.

The business grew, and our second store, the Trenton location, was originally opened in the 1970’s, with a third store in Burlington Ontario. While the Trenton store didn’t start off as the busiest of the three, it was always the most fun and vibrant of the three.

During the 1980’s, one of the family members became ill, so we liquidated the Belleville and Burlington locations, and kept the Trenton location going strong, knowing this was the pinnacle. This was our home.

Quinte West has a very strong sense of community. Before long, we had many loyal customers at this location. These customers have shopped with us for decades and continue to do so. We have also gained lots of happy new customers from word of mouth. In particular, military clientele.
